On December 10, 2011, members of the El Paso Writers’ League gathered at the Sunland Park Holiday Inn to participate in the League’s annual awards banquet.

2011 Audit

On December 14, 2011, an audit committee met to review the EPWL's finances. In attendance were:

--Janice Brooks, outgoing president and audit chair
--Bob Sanchez, incoming president
--Sarah Purcell, outgoing treasurer
--Isaiah Barrett, incoming treasurer

Janice hosted the meeting, which was held on her initiative. The committee agreed that an audit should be performed every year.
